UK Man Jailed for Seriously Injuring Home Invader, Appealing 2 and 1/2 Year Prison Sentence

I don't care that the home invader was leaving and the victim and his brother chased after him; nor that they arguably *DID* use excessive force. As far as I am concerned, whatever happened happened as a direct result of this shitbag deciding to commit a violent crime, and if he managed to get himself hurt-- however seriously-- for his trouble then that is just an example of good ol' fashioned karma at work. The idea that the victim should be punished for turning the tables on his attacker is beyond ludicrous.

I suggest that all readers look into the laws in their state or municipality regarding the exercise of self-defense, so you will be fully aware of your rights.

Munir Hussain, 53, returned to his High Wycombe home to find three intruders who tied him and his family up.
